Hard fought 3-3 draw for the GU14 Tigermoths v Honor Oak.
Honor Oak were the stronger team at the start, We went 1-0 down early on but great build up team goal levelled things soon after. Scored another goal that was denied as the umpire blew the whistle 10cm before it crossed the line.. 😢
Team work improved leaps and bounds in second quarter, suddenly we kept the ball in their half all the time, and in third quarter scored brilliant goal from short corner, 2-1. We started dominating the game now, several close chances, then in last quarter Honor Oak got their game together again, and scored one lucky and one very good goals on the break, 3-2 behind.
Unperturbed our girls kept going, heads high, great passing, very fast hockey, several chances, and very last action of the match was an amazing hard shot - again after great team build up and passing - that probably dented the back board. 3-3 😃
