Tigermoths had a game with ups and downs ending on a very much up!
Dominated first 15m but didn’t manage to score, went 1-0 down to a single Bromley breakout.. second quarter pretty even but still camped in oppo D a lot.
Third quarter was the down bit, midfield kept losing the ball, oppo got into their groove and scored two more, partially by uncertain and hesitant defending on our side. ⬇️
Then suddenly fourth quarter the fire came, team clicked into formation and out of nowhere everything started to work. All blocks successful, rapid advances over the wing, several great shots at goal. ⬆️
Then less than 5 minutes before the end great goal from Sophie and two minutes later we scored from second short corner, basically a team effort, great ping pong and then Maggie Mae had the last say. 🔝
Right before the end we nearly had two more goals - girls left the match with great smiles and high spirits..
Basically we left it a bit too late, but great match and very very good hockey and team play at the end! 😃🏑👍🏼
